Welcome back and I hope the summer was relaxing for all of you.

The MPFT Exec. met last Friday and the discussion regarding our (MPFT) presence at Board Meetings ended with a request for me to share the wealth.
We will be pacing around a paper at our General Assembly meeting on Thursday asking if any one of you may wish to attend a District Board meeting. The meetings and locations for this semester are as follows:

9/17/08 at 6:00 P.M. in West Bend
10/15/08 at 6:00 P.M. in FDL.
11/19/08 at 6:00 P.M. at the Ripon Regional Center
12/17/08 at 6:00 P.M. in FDL

Please consider assisting our organizations desire to be present with one of us at each of these meetings. Thank -you.

Also, we will be able to eat and meet from 12 :00 to 12:40 P.M. on Thursday. Hoping all can get in food line and to chairs to conduct the meeting as quickly as possible. However, it is our intention to have
another General Assembly meeting during the Jan. In Service too. With new language and the like it will, it seems, be prudent to meet three times this year.

Lastly, any persons willing to mentor new faculty this year please contact Greg Harding ASAP to allow pairings as much as possible to happen by this Thursday.

A Note from Your Co-Treasurer:

Dear Colleague:

If you incur expenses that are reimbursable by your local Federation, please submit the receipts along with an MPFT Expense Voucher to one of your co-treasurers, Pete Mihas or Carrie Schmidt. The Expense Voucher can be downloaded and printed from www.mpft.org. Click on the "Members" link. Keep in mind that mileage incurred to attend official functions, ie. Executive Council meetings, committee meetings is reimbursable at .585 cents per mile. If you're unsure if you have reimbursable mileage, please contact Pete or Carrie for clarification.
